Purposeful AI. Clear boundaries.
Our Standards
Parnassah.ai is designed for productive use within standards appropriate for a frum home and workplace. These boundaries help keep AI focused on work, organization, research, and useful everyday tasks.
This page explains our general standards. Built-in restrictions apply independently of optional account Controls.
Helpful without becoming overly personal
Parnassah.ai is designed to support purposeful use, with less emphasis on personal, open-ended chat and more emphasis on completing useful tasks. Our aim is to be warm and helpful without encouraging emotional attachment, replacing real relationships, or drawing users into prolonged, unnecessary conversation. The goal is to help you accomplish what you came to do and return to your work and daily life.
Built-in content standards
Parnassah.ai is designed to restrict the following content and assistance:
- Inappropriate or explicit content
- Explicit material, intimate discussions, seductive or sensual romance, and restricted anatomy or vocabulary.
- Gender ideology and orientation-related content
- Discussion, promotion, or supportive content concerning these restricted subjects.
- Human abuse cases and allegations
- Case details, identities, allegations, investigations, and retellings. Immediate danger calls for help from a trusted responsible adult, qualified professional, or emergency services.
- Non-Jewish religious teachings
- Teaching, explaining, comparing, or promoting religious beliefs and doctrines outside Orthodox Judaism.
- Non-Orthodox Jewish religious guidance
- Promotion or recommendations of non-Orthodox movements and religious guidance outside Torah-true, halacha-aligned boundaries.
- Biblical criticism and anti-Torah arguments
- Bible criticism and arguments intended to undermine Torah or present scientific theories as disproving Torah.
- Gambling assistance
- Betting strategies, gambling instruction, recommendations, and help organizing or participating in wagering.
- Secular entertainment
- Information about movie, TV, and secular music personalities; entertainment summaries; and recommendations or access to non-Jewish entertainment content.
- Political campaigning and voter persuasion
- Voting recommendations, persuasive campaign material, partisan propaganda, and inflammatory political rhetoric.
- Lashon hara and reputational harm
- Gossip, humiliating posts, defamatory content, and harmful speculation about identifiable people or groups.
- Profanity
- Strong profanity and crude language. Context matters for words that also have ordinary, appropriate meanings.
- Internet filter circumvention
- Assistance removing, disabling, evading, or bypassing content filters and their restrictions.
- Definitive psak halacha
- The assistant does not issue definitive rulings. General orientation should be followed by consultation with a competent Rav.
Images — explicit or immodest content
Image creation and editing are subject to modesty standards. Explicit imagery, revealing clothing, and sensual posing are restricted. Adult women and adolescent girls are limited to modest, non-photorealistic depictions. Ordinary, fully dressed, age-appropriate images of young children are permitted. Some requests may be adapted into a modest version; unsuitable results may be withheld.

Configure ControlsContext and important boundaries
- Genuine medical-care questions may receive narrowly clinical guidance, subject to appropriate language and content limits.
- Neutral news, political facts, and ordinary scientific explanations are allowed unless the account's Controls restrict them.
- Gambling prevention, recovery support, and incidental bookkeeping references may be allowed.
- Ordinary business tasks, programming, device setup, media-file editing, and filter installation or troubleshooting are allowed when they preserve protections.
- Incidental names, addresses, records, and technical terms are assessed in context. Neutral creative expression may be allowed when it does not teach restricted doctrine or provide religious guidance.
- General Torah orientation is not a substitute for a Rav's definitive psak halacha.
Safeguards and feedback
Dangerous requests are also subject to the underlying AI services' safety protections, including protections against harmful violence, self-harm assistance, illicit-drug assistance, and harmful cyber activity. Automated safeguards can misunderstand requests or miss unsuitable content; no safeguard eliminates every risk. Standards and their application may evolve.
If an appropriate request is blocked, you can clarify your request. To report unsuitable content or a mistaken restriction, contact [email protected].
